Alice Lloyd Soccer continues record-breaking season, blank Kentucky Christian for 10th victory

Grayson,KY :  On October 22nd, the Alice Lloyd College Eagles (NCCAA DII's #4th) traversed to Grayson to battle the Kentucky Christian University Knights (1-11-1). The Caney Creek boys would produce a trio of goals in each half and earn their fourth shutout of the season, 6-0.

The Pippa Passes posse would get the scoring started at 13:35 when Luis Sarabia went solo to give his crew a 1-0 lead. Then, at 18:41, Jensen Harbaugh would repeat that feat and lace a shot past the KCU goalie. This gave the blue and white a 2-0 cushion.

Soon after, at 23:33 Harbaugh would loft a pass to Maddux Camden who proceeded to blast the ball into the goal. The 3-0 lead would remain until the horn signaled intermission.

In the second stanza, a five-minute stretch would break the game wide open. First, at 54:24, Tyler Brammer had the honors with a solo score (4-0). Then, at 56:38, Harbaugh delivered his second goal of the night to make it 5-0. Finally, at 59:49, Simon McNeil got in on the action with a nice shot of his own. This would make the scoreboard read 6-0, and that lead would hold until the final buzzer sealed the deal for the Pippa Passes posse.

Harbaugh led the way with 2 goals and 1 assist while Sarabia, Camden, Brammer, and McNeil each delivered 1 goal to the cause.  The Eagles were also solid on the defensive side once more as they allowed few good looks to the home club. Kalin Schneider allowed 0 goals in 90 minutes of action.

The Eagles led in shots (13-6), shots-on-goal (7-0), and corner kicks (2-1).

ALC (10-1-2) returns to action on Friday, October 23rd, when they travel to the Buckeye State to battle UC Clermont at 6:00pm.
