Alice Lloyd Soccer earns second consecutive shutout, defeat Appalachian Bible, 7-0

Mount Hope, WV:  On September 18th, the Alice Lloyd College Soccer Eagles traversed to the Mountaineer state to battle NCCAA opponent, Appalachian Bible College (2-2). The Bluegrass boys would play well and earn a big 7-0 shutout.

The Pippa Passes posse would strike early when Maddux Camden took a pass from Jensen Harbaugh and blasted it in the goal for a 1-0 lead.

Soon after, Harbaugh would do the honors, lofting a pass from Dylan Moore in the net for a 2-0 advantage.

Late in the half, Moore then got a penelty kick and made the most of it, delivering the Caney Creek crew a 3-0 cushion. That score would hold until intermission.

In the second stanza, Harbaugh received his own penelty kick and it proved successful, giving the Kentucky crew a 4-0 lead.

Later, Luis Sarabia received a nice setup from Jestin Barker and delivered the fifth score of the game (5-0)

A liitle later, Aiden Smith gave Moore another assist when he rammed a kick in the net (6-0).

Finally, in the last ten minutes, Maximus Melchiorre would have the honors after he took a Clayton Moss pass and produced the final goal, making the score, 7-0.

Harbaugh led the way with 2 goals and 1 assist while Moore delivered 1 goal and 2 assists.  The Eagles were also solid on the defensive side once more as they allowed few good looks to the Warrior squad. Kalin Schneider allowed 0 goals.

ALC (4-0-2) returns to action on Friday, August 25h, when they travel to the Tennessee to battle Welch College.
