ALC Volleyball Announces 2026 Season Schedule

The Lady Eagles are excited to announce their 2026 volleyball season schedule.

The Lady Eagles kick off the season with a scrimmage at home against Pensacola Christian (FL) on Friday, August 21st. One week later, they begin regular season play at the Showdown in the Woods Classic hosted by Saint Mary of the Woods College (IN). The first home game of the regular season is on Wednesday, September 2nd, when the Lady Eagles host Kent State (OH).

The Lady Eagles are coming off a record-setting season. En route to their first-ever NCCAA National Championship appearance, they won a school record 24 games and captured the Mideast Regional Tournament Championship. Their achievements will be celebrated on Appalachia Day during the College's athletic festivities and awards program. During the ceremony, members of last year's team will receive their 2025 Regional Championship rings.

With momentum from last season, Head Coach Kala Vanhoose has her sights set even higher for 2026.

"We are in pursuit of MORE in 2026," said Vanhoose. "Last season was a dream come true and finally brought our program into the conversation when it comes to competitive volleyball. This season, our goals are bigger than ever. I hope everyone comes to check us out. We had a great recruiting year, and I look forward to making Pippa proud."
