Alice Lloyd Volleyball faces Midway University in RSC play
Pippa Passes, KY: The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles volleyball team returned home on Tuesday, October 8th, to face the Midway University Eagles (8-7; 3-3 RSC) in River States Conference action. The hosts Eagles put up a good fight before ultimately dropping the match, 3-0.

In the opener, the squads both came prepared as the score remained close throughout. However, down the stretch, Midway was able to gain some seperation, and pull away to take the win, 25-19.
In Game 2, the two squads matched points early, as MU held a small advantage. The Lady Eagles fought to keep things close but eventually faultered near the end before dropping the contest, 25-18.
Game 3, saw the central Kentucky club break open a close contest with a nice run. Although the hometown squad refused to go away, and battled till the end, they could not overcome the deficit and fell, 25-17.
On the day for ALC (6-14; 0-6 RSC), Christa Amburgey and Rose Scotello led the club with 6 and 5 kills respectively, while Scotello (10) and Taylor Cox (8) paved the way in assists.
Amburgey, Jadyn Hall and Camryn Thompson each delivered a service ace while Hall came up huge in digs, with 18. Amburgey's 7 points was high for the club and Scotello chipped in with 5.5.
