Alice Lloyd Volleyball takes sweep at Miami Hamilton
Hamilton, OH: The Alice Lloyd Lady Eagles volleyball team traveled to the Buckeye State on Friday, September 21st, to face a home-standing Miami-Hamilton Harriers club. The drive back to Pippa Passes was a pleasurable one after the visitors had earned a big 3-0 sweep.

In the opener, the Kentucky team grabbed an early lead and slowly pulled away with a good effort. They would take the contest, 25-15.
Game 2 saw the Eagles jump ahead in a match that was close throughout. Happily, with the score knotted at 23-23. The Pippa Passes club would take the game's final two points to win, 25-23.
Game 3, saw the Bluegrass bunch display their best action of the day as they quickly took control. They would extend the advantage rapidly enroute to a match-ending 25-10 victory.
On the day, ALC's TK Ellis and Kyleah Ward led the club with 9 and 8 kills respectively. Camryn Thompson and Rose Scotello handed out 14 and 11 assists. Gracie Gibson and Jadyn Hall tied with 15 digs apiece and Scotello had 2 service aces.
The squad returns to action on Monday, September 23rd when they host Appalachian Bible College at 6:30pm
