Alice Lloyd Volleyball Earns Sweep at Appalachian Bible College

Mt. Hope, WV: On October 11th, the Alice Lloyd College Lady Eagles volleyball team journeyed to the Mountaineer State (WV) to face the Appalachian Bible College Lady Warriors in a single match. When all was said and done, ALC emerged victorious in straight sets.

In set 1, ABC came out with a determined effort. The game was tight throughout, but the visiting Lady Eagles made the clutch plays to earn a 25-23 win.

In set 2, ALC played very well and jumped out quickly. They would continue the momentum and extend it on their way to the 25-10 win.

In set 3, the squads battled evenly as the Warriors knew they had to win or see the contest end. Although the set was close, the Pippa Passes club closed the game with several timely kills once more, earning the 25-21 victory, and sweeping the match.

On the day, Caroline Parsons led ALC (6-10) with 15 assists while Brooklyn Cheek had 9 kills. Jenni Droke led everyone with 16 digs. Adreonna Schutz had 5 big aces, while Kyleah Ward registered 3 blocks.
