We award the female Student-Athlete of the Week honor to Lady Eagles freshman basketball player Jamie Cowan.
In her squad's lone game, a challenging 81-64 defeat at the hands of the NAIA's #13th ranked University of the Cumberlands, the forward played well. The Paris native led the squad with 16 points on 6-7 shooting (2-3 3FG) and sank both free throws. She also grabbed 4 rebounds and registered 2 blocks.
Her squad is currently 3-2 on the season.
