Alice Lloyd Cross Country squads open 2025 campaign

Wilberforce, OH: The Alice Lloyd College cross country clubs opened the 2025 season by traveling to the Buckeye state for the Wilberforce Invite.

The weather conditions were favorable as 13 women from 4 different colleges and 23 men from 4 different institutions toed the starting line in a 5K race (3.1miles).

On the day, the Lady Eagles had two runners tackle the 5K trail. Audrey Evens crossed the finish line in a time of 30:22, which earned her a 10th place finish while Abigail Collins came in 13th in a time of 39:20.

On the men's side of the equation, Gabriel Maggard would complete the 5K race in a time of 20:22 to finish in 13th position while his teammate Marvin Brown crossed the finish line in a time of 24:42 for a 21st place finish.
