Alice Lloyd Soccer Opens First Official Season

Harrodsburg, KY: On September 8th, history was made on Caney Creek as Alice Lloyd College began their inaugural season in soccer. The road contest was against the University of Campbellsville-Harrodsburg. In a contest that was initially affected by first-time jitters, the hosts prevailed 4-0.

ALC Coach Juan Lander's club came out tight and allowed 3 goals early. After that, they settled down and limited CH to just 1 more score. Unfortunately, they were unable to get the inital score they needed to mount a comeback.

On the day, the hosts fired 6 shots on goal compared to the Eagles 4. Goalie Joseph Westphal registering 2 saves.
