Alice Lloyd Golf Participates In UPike Fall Invitational
Prestonsburg, KY: The Alice Lloyd College men's golf team participated in the UPike Fall Invitational at Stonecrest Golf Course in Prestonsburg, KY, on September 24th and 25th. A total of 41 men competed in the tournament.
At the conclusion, Spalding University fired a two-day total of 609 to win by 10-strokes in the six-team field. Blake Maupin of UPike was the individual winner by 2 strokes.
For Alice Lloyd, the squad would shoot a 681 and finish in 6th place, one stroke behind 5th. They were led in the event by Mason Compton, who fired a 76-78 for a 154 overall. This solid score earned him a tie for 5th place. Korey Hanson shot 168 to finish in a tie for 25th.
Other finishers included: Issac Bowen (181), Chase Petry (183), and Hayden Halbert (191).
