Arin Rife- Softball
We award the final Female Student-Athlete of the Week honor of 2025-26 to women's softball player Arin Rife.
Alice Lloyd College's Arin Rife was selected as a First Team All-American. The sophomore pitcher had an outstanding year, leading the Lady Eagles to a school-record 36 wins and a berth in the NCCAA Softball World Series.
On the season, she was dominate, finishing in the top 10 nationally in 7 different categories. This includes finishing 1st in both opposing batting average (.205) and saves (4). She was also 2nd in total strikeouts (165), 2nd in wins (16), 3rd in innings pitched (166.1), 6th in fewest bunts allowed (2), and 7th in earned run average (2.36).
Male Student-Athlete of the Week
Diego Rodriguez
We award the final Male Student-Athlete of the Week honor of 2025-26 to men's baseball player Diego Rodriguez.
Alice Lloyd College shortstop Diego Rodriguez was chosen as a First Team All-American as he helped lead the Eagles to a school-record 31-wins.
The shortstop paced the club in games played, steals, and at-bats, while finishing 5th in the nation in steals (37). Also, among players to appear in at least half of the Eagle games, he led in batting average (.365) and on-base percentage (.455).
