Alice Lloyd College Joins NAIA’s Continental Athletic Conference

Pippa Passes, KY – Effective August 1, 2025, Alice Lloyd College has officially been accepted into the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics' (NAIA) Continental Athletic Conference (CAC). This move marks the Eagles' transition from the River States Conference to a new chapter of competition within the CAC.

Vice President of Student Services, Scott Cornett, expressed enthusiasm about the transition, noting the strategic advantages it brings to the College's athletic programs. "We are excited about this opportunity," said Cornett. "For a while, we have had some issues involving scheduling because we have been an outlier to several conferences. By joining the CAC, it gives us greater flexibility, allowing us to have a strong schedule while giving us greater control over our travel. It is a good fit for us."

Alice Lloyd College has been a proud member of the NAIA since 1982 and continues to hold dual affiliation with the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
